It is nearing that time of year again, the first weekend of November, where Aalborg is invaded by mad Metal heads for a lot of beers and great music at Studenterhuset.
I am looking forward to the mighty MARDUK who hopefully will show up this time around, AEON will also make my day with their over the top brutal and technical Death Metal. I am looking forward to an assault from the Czech madmen in BRUTALLY DECEASED as well, with their Swedish old school worshipping Death Metal. The Danes in CORPUS MORTALE and ILLDISPOSED are always up for a good show. And then of course CANNIBAL CORPSE, which I last saw back in 1998, when they toured with INFERNÄL MÄJESTY and DARK FUNERAL. The band, as you might know, has just released their new opus “A Skeletal Domain” which I find quite good, after a few disappointments from their side, a heavy and crunchy hardhitter, which fits the vocals of mr. Corpsegrinder very well. They have just put their first video for the album online as well, for the track ‘Kill Or Become’, check out below, it kills!
